An Arab expat professor narrowly escaped death when a college student at Hail University shot at him following a dispute. No one was hurt in the shooting.

Col. Abdulaziz Al-Zunaidi, Hail police spokesman, said: “The shooter fled the scene before we were informed of the incident at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning.”

A university statement said the student had fired three shots from a pistol concealed under his clothes, while the teacher escaped to another office unhurt. The suspect escaped in a car owned by a college mate.
