The 9th annual conference on the latest developments in general surgery will be held from April 8 -10 with the slogan “The Latest Developments in General Surgery” under the patronage of the rector of King Abdulaziz University, Prof. Osama bin Sadiq Tayeb.

Prof. Ahmed M. Kensarah, president of the Saudi General Surgery Society (SGSS), said that the annual conference on the latest developments in general surgery which will be held at King Faisal Convention Center of King Abdulaziz University will see experts and professionals from around the world to discuss the latest developments in general surgery and equipments.

“The conference is expected to be attended by the elite professors and consultants of general surgery at local and global levels and expected to draw the interest of specialists and medical personnel from inside and outside the Kingdom, as its theme is about the new and latest developments and techniques in surgery covering the hernia, colorectal, laparoscopic and robotic surgeries,” he said.

He also said that the society has assigned a webpage for the conference on its website www.sgss.org.sa, where people can give suggestions to the speakers, as well as download a registration form to attend the conference and view the program.

It is worth mentioning that the Cconference of the Saudi General Surgery Society (SGSS) is held periodically with extensive coverage in specialized scientific journals.
