The women’s department at the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) in collaboration with the British Council is set to host the first regular meeting for businesswomen on Monday in Riyadh, according to a statement released by CSC.

According to the statement, the event will be held at Sheikh Saad Al-Muajel at the CSC headquarters and is the first of its kind. Organizers expect the participation of a large number of female entrepreneurs and prominent Saudi women.

The meeting will coincide with the International Women’s Day. This will stimulate this international event at the national level and showcase the importance of Saudi women’s role in the community, the statement said.

The event aims to highlight the role of female investors and their increasing contribution to the nation’s economic development, encourage their role and raise their input to expand areas of work and investment available to them.

The joint event will also strive to develop the participants’ capabilities and eliminate obstacles that prevent them from taking part in the Kingdom’s economic development.

According to the organizer, the meeting will provide opportunities for participants to network and learn from the success stories of other female entrepreneurs.

The meeting will serve as a platform to exchange ideas and experiences to boost women’s work in various economic spheres.

The program will include a presentation on the achievements of the meeting, and two workshops titled “Your Way to Success” and “Change Management.”
