The Kingdom will accept applications from Saudi divorced women and widows for financial and housing support, said Justice Minister Muhammad Al-Issa.

Al-Issa called on applicants to submit their applications to the Housing Ministry.

First-time applicants will be able to benefit from these allocations without requiring a letter from the ministry, he said.

Applications must include information about guardians and dependents, as well as the applicant’s full name, ID number, gender, nationality and date of birth, he said.

Housing support is being extended through cooperation between the Housing Ministry and the Al-Elm Information Security Company, through which eligibility and priority are determined. Divorcees and widowers with children must attach dependency bonds, which will be issued electronically through the system.
