All problems facing Saudi investors in Egypt have been resolved, allowing a large number of Saudi businesses to now invest in various economic projects in the country, the Egyptian government announced Saturday.

“A committee from the Egyptian Defense Ministry was formed with participation of representatives from the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Council of Saudi Chambers and the association of businessmen in both countries to address a number of investment problems and obstacles,” said Red Sea Gov. Maj. Gen. Ahmed Abdullah. “Within 100 days, they were able to solve all issues hindering 15 billion Egyptian pounds worth of investments by 28 Saudi companies.”
