Madinah police have arrested a man for stealing SR250,000 worth of gold teeth and other valuables from a factory making artificial teeth in the eastern Al-Harrah district in Madinah.

Madinah police spokesman Col. Fahd Al-Ghannam said a suspect was tracked down but had escaped from a police patrol. However, he bit off more than he could chew because officers arrested him later and handed him over to the Uhud police.

His confession helped the police arrest the mastermind of the operation, an Arab expatriate. He also supplied details of three other persons involved in the robbery who were in possession of the stolen valuables. However, they had fled to Riyadh.
