In a significant attempt to support students and parents to overcome exam-related stress and problems, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in Delhi is implementing a three-month long pre-examination counseling program from Feb. 1 to April 17.

For the past 17 years, CBSE has been providing psychological counseling services to students during the preparatory period and throughout exam time.

The CBSE Annual Counseling is an outreach program, which is designed to ensure the heterogeneity of the student population and geographical spread.

Multiple modes of communication such as telephonic counseling, question-answer columns in newspapers and online counseling through CBSE’s website are used to reach the largest number of examinees in need of assistance.
