A large number of students participated in a career program, which was organized by “Students India” in Alkhobar recently.

Discussing the topic “Journey beyond High School”, Hisham Farook highlighted the main motives and steps in selecting a career.

He interpreted the term “career” as a person’s life mission and motivated the students to develop a positive attitude toward life and to “shun the fear of failure.”

“Success does not mean a short-term victory in day-to-day competitive world; rather it is to lead a successful life in the light of Islam,” Farook said.

Career means to develop a self-identity and break the stereotype models in daily life, he added.

He presented motivational video clips to boost the will power and inborn talents in the students.

Speaking at the second session “Tackle your Exam,” Rasheed Umer gave students some useful tips to crack the fear of exams, advising them to have a well-planned timetable and daily effective routine as a first step in this regard.

Last moment rush does not bring high scores in exam; instead they should prepare with proper timings and schedule to win the game. Pupils should develop good eating and sleeping habits as well, he said.

The event began with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an by Fida Salahudheen, followed by a welcome speech by “Students India” coordinator Abjith.

Jisna Sabiq and Huda Shani, resource persons of the organization, volunteered their services to make the event a success.
