The Jeddah Chapter of the Farook College Old Students Association (FOSA) recently released a CD compilation containing informative content of the college’s magazines from 1951 to 2012.

“It’s a real reference piece for students, professionals, research scholars and anyone seeking knowledge,” said Hifsu Rahman, president of Saudi-Indian Football Forum, who released the CD by giving a copy to FOSA President Majeed Ponnani.

The CD is the result of efforts made by the college’s library and contains a number of articles, stories and creative works of generations, said Ponnani.

“The response to the CD was excellent. There were many requests from many corners of the world to own the CD,” said Najeeb Mullaveettil, the general secretary of the organization.

All the proceeds from sales will go toward Edusupport, a noble venture started in 2004 in Farook College, known as the Aligarh of South India, to help poor students.
