Four women have now won cars in public draws at the Hayya Jeddah Festival.

Hanadi Mahmoud Al-Rashidi was the latest winner recently in the draw at Haifa Mall, said Yahya bin Salem Mansari, president of the awards team.

This remarkable streak now includes a Yemeni woman and two Saudi women, Aseelah Al-Ghamdi and Zakiyah Al-Najjar, who won in earlier draws.

Al-Rashidi was over the moon with her new car offered by Haji Hussein Alireza and Co. because she got married three months ago.

Mansari said the companies at the festival would give away a total of nine cars, among other prizes, worth over SR2 million. The fifth draw would be held at the Red Sea Mall on Feb. 6 where two cars would be given away, and the final draw for three cars would take place at Al-Salam Mall on Feb. 7, he said.

Mansari said women won most of the 15 other prizes on offer. Mashail Nasir, Shatha Mohammad, Ashwaq Ali and Hiyam Atiyah won Galaxy Notes. Samia Radi, Mohammad Ayoub and Nawwaf Naji won a free stay at Bahadir Resort in Obhur, while Riyhanah Zain, Wasim Amer and Kamran Anees won shopping vouchers from Naomi. Gaidaa Shara Al-Din and Samar Al-Awadi won vouchers for tooth whitening using laser and zoom technology, and Juan Ala and Naema Ramadan each won a pearl necklace.

The festival, which ends on Feb. 8, includes more than 5,000 stores and 70 amusement arcades, to promote Jeddah as a local and regional tourist and shopping destination. It includes acrobatic games, a fireworks festival and discounts on selective items.
