Asir Gov. Prince Faisal bin Khaled has ordered free medical treatment for a policeman who was wounded by gunfire on Friday.

Saeed Al-Qahtani, a policeman working at the Al-Harija police division in Sarat Abidah region, was injured when an unidentified gunman shot at him while he was on duty at the Farsha station, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Al-Qahtani was admitted to Asir Central Hospital.

Prince Faisal visited Al-Qahtani in hospital and wished him a speedy recovery. Al-Qahtani expressed gratitude for the governor’s visit, saying it greatly boosted his morale.
