The Ministry of Education will train visitors in various forms of plastic arts in its pavilion at the Janadriyah National Heritage and Culture Festival, an official of the ministry said.

The scouts wing of the ministry at the festival pavilion aims to discover and develop the scouting skills of visitors to the festival,

Director of Student Activities at the Riyadh Education Administration Anwar Abu Abba said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency on Friday.

“The scouts program will offer training in various skills related to scouting at three locations including the scout center. The items include camping skills, surface navigation, field cooking and rope techniques, in addition to drama presentation and games events,” he said.

In another development, the General Administration of Cleaning at the Riyadh Municipality distributed thousands of gifts to visitors at the second Family Festival for Palms and Dates in the city.

The festival organized in an area of over 375 square meters aims to promote awareness among children about the protection of the environment including parks, green surfaces and public utilities. The organizers are also distributing pamphlets on environmental protection and displaying ancient and modern techniques of maintaining a clean environment.
