The Madinah Health Department has shut down an online link that urged people to vote for the most beautiful woman employee at King Fahad Hospital.

It has now asked the police to find those responsible for publishing the 22 names of employees.

Angry parents and guardians have urged the authorities to take action. They said this invaded the privacy of their wives and daughters, local media reported.

The province’s Health Department confirmed it had received complaints about the list.

Abdullah Al-Taefi, director of the Health Department in Madinah, said the employees’ guardians filed a complaint calling for the police to investigate and find those responsible.

“The link is not connected to a known location or website, so we handed the file to the authorities with all the evidence and a copy of the guardians’ complaints,” he said.
