International Labor Organization officials are currently visiting the Kingdom to discuss the situation of expatriate labor in the country.

Senior officials of the International Labor Organization’s technical committee met Thursday with Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Salem at the Ministry of Interior in Riyadh, according to Saudi Press Agency (SPA). Topics related to expatriate workers in the Kingdom came up for discussion during the meeting.

ILO’s Director of the Department of International Labor Standards, Cleopatra Doumbia-Henry, is heading the delegation that includes Shauna Olney, equality coordinator, Migrant workers and Indigenous Peoples at ILO, and Justice Cooks of the legal department.
