The Indian community in Jeddah has expressed sadness at the death of a popular doctor.

Dr. Shamshad Begum died in Bangalore, India. She was associated with Naseem Polyclinic in Jeddah and was known for her excellent practice and philanthropic attitude.

“Saudis and Indian and other communities will definitely feel the void,” said K.T. Mohamed Yunus, Naseem Polyclinic manager.

“Our staff and management have conveyed our condolences to her family,” he said. “She served Saudis and the expat community for the last 10 years.”

Dr. Shamshad was actively involved in humanitarian work by organizing free medical aid and blood donation camps.
