The Consulate General of India in Jeddah will hold an open house today from 11.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. where Consul General Faiz Ahmed Kidwai and his senior staff members will listen to the problems of Indians living in Jeddah and the surrounding areas.

“We attach high priority to the welfare of the Indian expatriate community residing under its jurisdiction,” the consulate said while highlighting the importance of the open house, which is being held for the second time in Jeddah.

The open house was introduced with the intention of establishing a one-to-one interaction of expatriates with the consul general and his team of consuls, the consulate said.

The event allows Indian citizens to discuss their grievances as well as consular, welfare and labor issues seeking quick solutions. “We invite all Indian community members to attend the open house,” the consulate said.
