On behalf of myself, the Consulate-General of Japan in Jeddah and the Japanese Community in the Western Region, we would like to present our heartiest and most sincere congratulations to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah, Crown Prince Salman, Deputy Crown Prince Muqrin, Makkah Governor Prince Mishaal bin Abdullah and the Saudi people on the occasion of the 84th National Day of Saudi Arabia.

Foundation of Saudi Arabia is a result of the wisdom, patience and struggle of King Abdul Aziz, who was able to unite the land of his ancestors with its different tribes and transform it into a strong country.

A vision of a great king led the Kingdom to become a key player in the international political and economic fields.

Next year Saudi Arabia and Japan will celebrate 60 years of diplomatic relationships that developed through the strong friendship of the two royal families, mutual visits of high-ranking officials, Saudi students in Japan, Japanese companies in the Kingdom and youth and cultural exchange programs.

During these years of deep friendship and fruitful cooperation, the two countries reached a high level of coordination for the benefit of their peoples. Today, Japan is one of the main commercial partners of Saudi Arabia, relations exceed the phase of friendship to a strategic phase called “From Energy to Synergy.”

Japan contributed to the renaissance of Saudi Arabia and ready to give more through its huge experience and advanced technology in all aspects, especially water and electricity rationalization, nuclear power plants, infrastructure, trains and metro projects and transfer of technology.

We wish Saudi Arabia and its people under the rule of its wise leadership all progress, development, prosperity and peace.
