JEDDAH: The Ministry of Justice and Saudi Capital Market Authority (CMA) have officially canceled the use of paper in dealings between them with regard to implementation of court orders issued by judges.
The Ministry of Justice and the CMA will only depend on electronic transactions between them.
In this context, Minister of Justice and head of Higher Judiciary Council Dr. Walid Al-Samaani has directed all courts and implementation departments Kingdom-wide to use electronic transactions between the ministry’s concerned departments and the CMA.
“As required by work interests and speedy accomplishment, we are adopting implementation of orders electronically with the CMA as of Shawwal 6,” the minister said.
The ministry said transactions with the CMA used to take one to two weeks, but with the new directive, the implementation will be spontaneous as soon as the judge issues the order.
On the other hand, the number of implementation orders accomplished in the period extending between Muharram 1, 1437 up to Shawwal 16, 1437 reached 30,973, with total paid funds estimated at SR16,084,674,205, the ministry said.
