Saudi Arabia does not request information about Facebook users, a recent report said.

Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon, Bahrain, Oman, Sudan, Palestine, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar requested the social networking company to supply detailed information about several users in these countries in Facebook’s half-yearly report for July to December last year, the report said.

Egypt submitted requests for information about six individuals through the social networking site, while Kuwait submitted four requests about three individuals, the report said.

Lebanon filed requests for information about 12 people, while Bahrain submitted one request, Oman three requests, Qatar three requests about five people, Palestine and Sudan four requests and the United Arab Emirates two requests, the report said.

CNN reported that the United States topped the list internationally, with 12,059 requests for information about 18,700 people, followed by the United Kingdom, with 1,906 requests about 2,277 individuals.
