A Saudi-Moroccan Technical Committee discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation on labor issues, the Saudi Press Agency said here recently.

They focused in particular on the provision of Moroccan workers in the Saudi labor market and signed a cooperation agreement aimed to solving the problems that faced workers. They also launched an e-portal to act as a link between employers and job-seekers.

The meeting, which took place at a Riyadh hotel, was headed by Ministry of Labor’s Undersecretary for International Affairs Dr. Ahmed Al-Fihaid and Director of Works at the Moroccan Ministry of Works and Social Affairs, Amal Al-Raghawi.

During the meeting, the Moroccan delegation was briefed on the mission of the Saudi Ministry of Labor and its affiliated bodies regarding the organization of the labor market, the Kingdom’s initiatives in protecting labor rights and the role of recruitment offices in streamlining the recruitment process.
