Under the guidance of Madinah Gov. Prince Faisal bin Salman, a forum on the employment market will be organized for hundreds of Saudi youth at Le Meridien Hotel on Feb. 4 and 5.

Labor Minister Adel Fakeih will attend the event which aims to find jobs for the youth in the public and private sectors in the Madinah province.

“Fifteen speakers across four sessions will discuss at least 15 strategic topics that all carry the theme “They are our Youth,” according to Majd Al-Mohammadi, member of the Board of Directors of the Madinah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Al-Mohammadi is also the supervisor of the forum.

The chamber began preparations for the event with a website for employment registration sufficiently in advance.

The Research and Studies Administration of the chamber found that 700 jobs were waiting to be filled while 85 of the jobs required university degree qualifications, 492 of them a secondary education and 86 positions required technical diplomas, and six percent for intermediate school certificate holders and nine percent for those who have secured only a primary school education.
