JEDDAH: A ministerial committee against Iranian interference in domestic Arab affairs discussed ways to contain Tehran in a meeting held in Nouakchott, Mauritania, on Saturday. The meeting was chaired by Anwar Gargash, UAE state minister for foreign affairs, and representatives from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain aside from Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Arab League secretary-general, attended it. The committee will make recommendations on the issue to be reviewed by the upcoming Arab foreign ministers meeting. Iran’s interference will top the agenda of the Arab summit that will take place on Monday in Nouakchott.
