The Ministry of Health has launched free medical treatment for Saudi nationals especially for heart disease, kidney, diabetes and related diseases. It is also planning to launch 15 new projects to provide nationals with qualified doctors on clinical and hospital bases.

Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed, undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Curative Services, visited the conference and the exhibition about impact of modern lifestyle on health.

The Hassan Abbas Sharbatly Charity Foundation with the cooperation of Ministry of Health offered free medical treatment for needy people. The program was organized by the International Medical Center (IMC) on Saturday in Jeddah.

General Supervisor Abdullatif Nukaly said that world class doctors and specialists have joined the program to serve the community and treat the poor for free.

He added that an agreement was signed between IMC and the charitable association for treatment of poor Saudis.

Nukaly said that they came up with this program as their social responsibility toward society and nationals, to serve the community with the encouragement and support of the ministry of health.

He added that the center, the association and the Saudi Red Crescent Society have decided to bring the accident patients immediately to the hospital for the treatment. He explained that at the moment 22 charitable programs are going on to help the needy people of the community and thanked ministry of health for their continued support and help.

Nukaly said that they partnered with IMC because they have all the facilities to provide and attend accident cases.
