The Kingdom is set to take stricter punitive action against several offenses, including bribery, assault, illegal investment and commercial concealment, among others.

Also included in the list are offenses such as committing robbery at traffic accident scenes, taking photos of women under anesthesia, misusing one's position as a law enforcement authority to commit a crime, racism and assaulting disabled people.

In addition, general penal mechanisms will be implemented for criminal acts occurring at mosques or educational facilities.

First-time drug trafficking, undue speculation, armed assault, domestic violence, blackmail and assaulting parents are also among the twelve crimes that are punishable by stricter sentencing.

The prosecution had also come up with other offenses that are not included in the list, which it will demand to be included through the judiciary.
