Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah has ordered granting of the King Abdulaziz Medal of the First Degree posthumously to Muhammad Barnawi, the teacher who was stabbed to death in a school in Sabya in Jazan province. The king also ordered payment of SR500,000 to his children and the purchase of a suitable house for them.

Education Minister Prince Khaled Al-Faisal thanked the king for this humanitarian gesture toward a member of the teaching community, the Saudi Press Agency reported Friday.
