PARIS: Prince Khalid bin Sultan has urged the international community as well as regional and international organizations to stand firm on terrorists, emphasizing that they are responsible for linguistic and ideological security breaches, according to an online newspaper.
He said that terrorists were using weak Hadith for their poisoned religious indoctrinations, which are far from true Islam and the correct use of religious language and associated ideas.
He added that they are exploiting ignorance of those who join them by using the classical Arabic language inappropriately.
To explain this, he said that terrorists often pull out certain verses from the Holy Qur'an which were revealed under certain conditions that are different from in the current period of time, thus ignoring the reasons behind the revelation of the verses and their objectives.
During a speech delivered on the occasion of the International Day of Arabic Language organized by UNESCO in Paris, Prince Khalid announced that the Sultan Charity Foundation would donate $1 million every year for five years for the program of the late Prince Sultan to promote the Arabic language. Eight years ago, he also donated $3 million for the same purpose.
