RIYADH: Obese patient, Rana Al-Dosri, who is currently receiving treatment in the United States, has appealed to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to allow her to complete her treatment.
She is in the final stages of the treatment, but the Ministry of Health refused a second extension of the period of treatment, asking her to return to the Kingdom at the earliest.
Rana’s weight has come down to 79 kg from 220, but she was diagnosed with a heart problem, which has delayed her tensile contouring and other surgeries.
The ministry refused to extend her stay in the country any longer, despite a previous royal order for her treatment.
