Pakistani families will attend a national heritage event entitled “Virsa-e-Pakistan” on Sept. 6 at the Pakistan Embassy to promote their culture in the Kingdom.

Pakistani Ambassador Muhammad Naeem Khan and his wife will attend the event as chief guests.

The event will showcase Pakistani culture, including historical buildings, local literature, customs and traditions, arts, cuisines, folklore, music and national symbols.

Sajida Chaudhary, Virsa-e-Pakistan organizer, said there is a need to promote Pakistan’s cultural diversity.

“I urge the Pakistani community to take part in this event to promote culture and tradition.

“We are planning to arrange more events to promote our community and culture in a positive manner,” she said.

The program includes a dinner for the guests, after which an entertainment program will begin.

Pakistani traditional group ‘Need and Style’ will organize the one-day event.
