MADINAH: Four-year-old Raghad Youssef is receiving medical treatment at the Children’s Hospital in Madinah after suffering a freak accident at Al-Khaldiyah Public Park.
The child’s father, Yousef Ibrahim, said he, his wife and their two children were spending the weekend at the park when the accident took place. “I went to pray Maghreb and when I returned, I heard my wife screaming, ‘My daughter! My daughter!’ and saw a lamppost had fallen on the park’s ground and blood in the area where my family was,” he said.
He said a group of young men informed him that someone took control of the situation and transferred his daughter, the only victim, to hospital. She is now fighting for her life at King Fahd Hospital.
