Secret police patrol in Riyadh arrested a Saudi in his 20s who was allegedly involved in burning four cars in Al-Suwaidi nighborhood, west of the capital.

Security forces received a call from a citizen saying that an unidentified person had burned four cars that were parked in front of a residential complex in Al-Suwaidi.

The caller said he didn’t know the man and couldn’t give any further information.

The only description the police got was from a witness who saw the criminal from a distance.

Secret security patrol cars were immediately dispatched to the neighborhood and nearby areas. His description was circulated among other field patrols, and a comprehensive security check was conducted at the exit and entry points of the area.

The identity of the perpetrator was determined and secret police arrested him. He was handed to Al-Suwaidi police for further investigation.
