Prince Charles, the heir apparent to the British throne, has praised the success achieved by Saudi entrepreneurs and the role of the Centennial Fund (TCF) in supporting them and developing leadership.

The Prince of Wales’ observation came at a recent meeting with the TCF Director General Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Mutairi, during the former’s three-day visit to the Kingdom last week. Al-Mutairi also briefed Prince Charles on the TCF initiatives.

The reception hosted in honor of the visiting dignitary was attended by Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf, Saudi ambassador to the United Kingdom, Prince Sultan bin Salman, president of the Supreme Commission of Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA), and Prince Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Abdulrahman, governor of Dir’iya.

Several entrepreneurs, who had benefitted from the TCF services, presented their success stories.

“The TCF focuses on initiatives conducive for entrepreneurial environment, and the number of such initiatives has touched 20, both locally and globally. This reflects the positive impact of promotion of the concept of entrepreneurship in cooperation with the Saudi Credit and Savings Bank and Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF),” Al-Mutairi said.

The participants praised the efforts made by Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah, deputy foreign minister, chairman of the Board of Trustees of TCF, in supporting the efforts of the fund to strengthen the role of Saudi Arabia in international forums related to the field of entrepreneurship.
