SHABWA: Saudi Arabia has continued its charitable aid provided during Ramadan, supporting almost 1 million needy people throughout the Muslim world.

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center distributed more than 44 tons of Ramadan food baskets in Shabwa governorate, Yemen, benefiting 2,484 people.

The center also distributed 1,895 Ramadan food baskets in Rajanpur, Rahim Yar Khan and Muzaffargarh of Pakistan, benefiting 13,265 people.

It also distributed 2,035 Ramadan food baskets in the areas of Khairpur, Jotki and Sangare in Sindh province and Rajanpur area in Punjab province, benefiting 14,245 people.

In Chad, KSrelief has distributed 425 Ramadan food baskets to needy families in the city of N’Djamena, benefiting 2,550 people.

The project aims to distribute 14,046 food baskets in a number of Chadi states, benefiting more than 84,000 people.

The Saudi Ramadan “Eta’am” initiative aims to distribute 156,993 food baskets weighing 8,430 tons in 19 countries, benefiting more than 900,000 individuals during Ramadan.

The initiative is part of the relief and humanitarian projects being implemented by the Kingdom, represented by KSrelief, to many developing countries.

In Bangladesh, the center distributed 3,000 food baskets in Rohingya refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar, benefiting 15,000 people.

KSrelief distributed 2,000 food baskets to needy families in the Chittagong district of Bangladesh, benefiting 10,000 people.

This is part of the Kingdom’s efforts to support Rohingya refugees and improve their living conditions in various settlements.
