Saudi Arabia’s cultural attaché in the United Arab Emirates and officials from the University of Sharjah discussed ways of enhancing cooperation for the benefit of Saudi students.

Saleh Al-Suhaibani, Saudi cultural attaché in the UAE, told Arab News that he held a meeting with Salah Al-Haj, deputy director of the University of Sharjah, to discuss areas of mutual cooperation with the Saudi Embassy.

During the meeting, Al-Suhaibani said they discussed issues related to education, disciplines, extra-curricular activities and the educational progress made by Saudi students.

The university has become one of the largest educational institutions in the region, offering 95 majors.

He also praised Saudi students’ participation in university activities and their outstanding attendance at events.

Al-Suhaibani also said that the meeting was attended by members of staff from the embassy, where attendees discuss the need for new disciplines and for the Kingdom to have specialists, who will aid national development.
