Administrators at private and international schools in Riyadh are in a state of confusion over a Ministry of Education circular that prohibits teachers who have resigned from private and international schools from being rehired at other private schools for a period of two years.

The circular was issued following an increase in the number of teachers moving between schools, which has adversely affected school stability and has created deficits in the education process.

“Does the circular refer to teachers who have completed their contracts or teachers who left their job without completing their contracts? We need clarification on this,” one school administrator said.
