The Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities will organize a program to improve communication skills of Saudi taxi drivers at King Abdulaziz International Airport.

Abdullah bin Sulaiman Al-Washeel, director-general of Takamul, the national project for the development of human resources in tourism, said that 75 Saudi taxi drivers at the airport would attend the course. He commended the cooperation of airport officials in organizing the course.

The course will include a series of awareness programs in the months ahead. They will focus on the upcoming Haj season. “We aspire to make efforts to implement the directions of the leadership of the country to provide the highest level of service to pilgrims,” he affirmed.

He said that this is the fourth phase of the program, which has been implemented to include all taxi drivers in the course. Around 1,466 drivers have have already benefited from the course since its kickoff.
