Riyadh police arrested a security guard who stabbed his colleague to death at a holiday resort on the Riyadh-Taif highway.

The two security guards were working in the holiday resort, taking turns to man the entrance to the location. On a tip-off from a member of the public, police rushed to the crime scene, where the authorities found the victim in a pool of blood. The deceased had several stab injuries on his body.

The suspect confessed to killing his colleague when police arrested him on suspicion. The police did not reveal the nationalities of the accused or the victim. The authorities also recovered the knife used by the accused in the crime.

On completion of investigation, the accused will be produced in court in Riyadh.
