On behalf of the president and the people of the Republic of South Africa we convey our heartfelt felicitations to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah, Crown Prince Salman and the people of Saudi Arabia on the joyous occasion of the National Day celebrations.

We wish the Kingdom and its people every success. South Africa recognizes the contributions made by this country to attaining freedom in South Africa. We are thus united with the Kingdom to work toward creating a better life for all, in the world at large and the Middle East in particular. It is our fervent hope that the Kingdom will continue to play an important role in the region.

The importance of a stable Saudi Arabia is critical to confront the multiple challenges that we are seeing in the region. A strong and stable Saudi Arabia is vital for the future of this important region. May Allah bless its leaders and its people.
