King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) has embarked on training and qualifying the winning students at the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity to represent the Kingdom at the Asian Young Innovators Exhibition (AYIE2014 ), Saudi Press Agency said.

The event, which coincides with the international exhibition of inventors in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, will take place from May 8 to 10. The two-day workshop kicked off in Riyadh on Wednesday with the training programs being undertaken by trainers from the University of Minnesota, USA.

The workshops contained 36 projects destined for 43 male and female students. The best projects will then be offered to compete at the AYIE, the SPA said.
