A 15-year-old boy fell to his death Monday in a popular shopping mall in Madinah.

Madinah police Col. Fahd Al-Ghannam said police received a call from the security patrols about a teenager who fell in Ar Rashid shopping mall. The police found the teen between the escalators of the ground floor of the mall.

Witnesses with the boy said that they were together on the third floor and the boy wanted to go down to the second floor using the escalators.

The boy wanted to jump from the escalator leading from the third floor to the second floor but he fell in the gap between the two flights to the ground floor.
