The seventh Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Market (STTIM 2014) at the Riyadh convention center from March 30 to April 3 will have many top industry players taking part.

The Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) has organized the event under the patronage of Riyadh Gov. Prince Khaled bin Bandar, chairman of the city’s Tourism Development Council, an official said on Friday.

“The event will highlight the investment opportunities and potential in the Saudi travel and tourism investment market, and covers the tourism development strategies related to the business sector,” he said.

He said several top industry operators are taking part, including many new participants. This reflects the “event’s ability to draw new elements in each of its sessions to create excellence, distinction, diversity and creativity,” he said.

The hotel category will be represented by Antor Hotels and Suites and Rahat Company, a subsidiary of the Saudi Khayal National Company.

The official said that some of the companies offer specific products including luxury golf carts, sports utility vehicles and industrial parts and accessories.

The event will have a range of lectures, workshops and seminars on the tourism industry in the Kingdom conducted by local and international specialists and experts, the organizers said.
