A citizen in the Al-Aiss province informed security authorities that he had found a human skeleton while searching for his camels in Al-Fakar region, south of the Al-Abrak center in Salilah Juhina province.

Upon conducting a search of the area, an investigation team and forensic experts discovered the remains and skeleton of a decomposed human body. While searching the site for clues to support their investigation, security officials found another completely decomposed body of a man dressed in jeans, three shirts and a jacket. The skull and hands were lying next to the body.

According to the Madinah Police media spokesman Col. Fahd Bin Amer Al-Ghanam, there were no clues to prove the dead people’s identity and no evidence to indicate any criminal involvement.

Al-Ghanam said that the investigation suggested that the bodies belong to two men who might have gotten lost noting that their deaths probably took place between 8 months to one year ago.

The remains of the bodies were transferred to the Al-Aiss General Hospital morgue, where a forensic specialist is examining the bodies to provide authorities with the medical report, he said. The investigation is still ongoing.
