Two people were injured, one seriously, when a car crashed into a restaurant on Al-Anbariah road in Madinah Sunday.

Mahmoud Khayat, an official spokesman for the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Madinah, said that two ambulances and a medical team moved immediately to the accident site upon receiving word of the incident.

One of the injured is said to be in a serious condition and was transferred to the Al-Dar Hospital, while another individual suffered moderate injuries and was transferred to the Al-Ansar Hospital for treatment.
