Jeddah Municipality has launched Salah Al-Din mosque garden in Al-Marwa neighborhood, and Sanabel Al-Khair garden in Al-Safa, bringing the total number of gardens in the city to 14.

Director General for culture and information in the municipality Abdulaziz Al-Ghamidi said the two gardens have been established over an area of 4,100 square meters. Both the Salah Al-Din Mosque and the Sanabel Al-Khair gardens are situated within the airport municipality branch.

The Salah Al-Din Mosque garden has been built over an area of 2,100 square meters, with a vegetation of 934 square meters. It has 45 trees, eight palm trees and 500 other plants. It is equipped with five rest areas and one play area for children, and a pedestrian area of 690 square meters.

He said the Sanabel Al-Khair garden has been built over an area of 2,000 square meters, with vegetation that covers 1,000 square meters. It has 20 trees, 12 palm trees and 400 plants. It is equipped with five rest areas, one play area, and pedestrian paths that cover an area of 500 square meters.

Both gardens are well lit and have waste baskets to keep them clean and tidy.
