The Saudi Embassy in the United States has initiated a program to support Saudi students by signing agreements with several large American companies to train Saudi students for up to two years.

This move will encourage students to plan their career path thoroughly and gain experience and skills to meet challenges ahead. This will also help in implementing the replacement initiative undertaken by the Ministry of Labor in the Kingdom to localize jobs instead of relying on foreign workers.

These moves come in the wake of experience deficiency seen among young Saudis, and gaining experience in the field will make Saudi graduates competitive in private sector companies.

In the light of rising unemployment in the Kingdom and the labor correction exercise, the Chamber of Commerce in Yanbu will be organizing a Saudi Forum for Rehabilitation and Employment.

The three-day forum will be held in the Chamber of Commerce of Yanbu from March 4, under the patronage of Madinah Gov. Prince Faisal bin Salman. It will be the first forum to combine employment and rehabilitation in the Kingdom.
