A project presented by Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) was selected the best among 58 projects at an international technical competition organized last week in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Saudi Press Agency reported.
The SEC, represented by its IT and Communications Department, said the project was based on solutions to archive engineering documents. Through this project, the Saudi company handled more than 8 million engineering documents and provided an integrated IT infrastructure environment for the operating system including servers, databases, licensing, and technical support
Some 250 companies and organizations, representing 39 countries, participated in this contest and an independent jury selected 58 projects to qualify for the final stage of the competition.
