After Texas Scramble team events the past weeks competition format is back to individual stroke play in the second staging of the Saudi Hollandi Bank Open Golf Tournament at Dirab Golf & Country Club.

A full field of over 100 players will tee it up in the 7 a.m. shotgun-style start tomorrow in chase of prizes worth SR 50,000.

Just before the start of the tournament players will each receive a goody bag that contains Cutter & Buck polo shirt, a sleeve of Titleist Pro V1 balls, golf cap and Foot Joy glove.

This 18-hole individual stroke play competition features three divisions for men and one division for ladies and for junior golfers.

SHB joined the growing list of the club’s corporate partners last year by sponsoring a tournament that has since become an annual event thanks to SHB Managing Director Dr. Bern Van Linder who helped facilitate the sponsorship.

He is expected to attend tomorrow’s event to award prizes to the winners.

The overall Best Gross and Best Net winners last year were Gerry Davis and Hitesh Valla, respectively.

In addition to the major prizes are handsome items for the raffle draw.
