Alinma Bank won a Best Team of the Week and Best Bowler of the Week double courtesy of Jess Ambon during the sixth session in the Almarai-FBGR Sunday Bowling League 13th Conference at the Universal Bowling Center here.

Almarai Company sponsored the tournament under the auspices of Filipino Bowling Group of Riyadh (FBGR).

Alinma Bank, mentored by Abdulrahman Ahmed, blanked Alsalam Knights of Bandar Al-Marshad 12-4 in a 4-0 match win Ambon at the helm rolling the high series of 894 on lines of 209, 193, 220 239.

Ambon enjoyed good support from Leo Mabunga 855, Fareed Aquino 847, George Sto. Domingo 846 and Ahmed 746 points. Top scorers for the losing team were Rollie Cleofe 872, Bandar Al-Marshad 813, Efren Abuyo 782, and Lito Vega 752 and Jess Vidal 740.

RG512, mentored by Yasser Mohammed, upset defending champion Carry Over of Lulu Quejada 20-13. Edgar Buenaventura, the top scorer, found strong backup from the pair of Rasheed Rasheedan and Rocky Manipon who drilled identical score of 815. Resty De Jesus had 769 while Ahmad Al-Qarquosh added 530 and Noel Marquez 130. HRH MS led the losing team by scoring 853 with Abdullah Amoudi on 839, Lulu Quejada 764, Nap Torres 572, Celis Viloria 557 and Mohammed Al-Masri 352.

Look Up Boys, mentored by Ronald Bautista, demolished the young Thales team of Ryan Iñigo 20-16. Top scorers at Look Up were Armin Isles 836, Ronald Bautista 823, Joe Garrido 787 and Art Yukong 827. Andro Tismo tossed in 592 and Edwin Atienza made 176. Thales had Ramon Chua on 854, Cheng Lambo 836, Nina De Vera 813, Nelson De Vera 800 and Inigo 666.

In another match, Proshop Strikers of Ric Urrutia Jr. smashed the United Global of Jeff Nierva 19-13. Leading scorers of the winning team were Ed Cruz 816, Ric Urrutia 803 and Vic Barrazona 801. Ruby Urrutia shot 509 and Freddie Santiago 314. For the losing team, Clem Ojeda came through with 817, Sam Dotingco 796, Jolito Santillan 755, Jeff Nierva 622 and Edwin Quano 480.

In other matches, IBG Storm, captained by Ric Singson, beat Team Irene of Dong Yamco 22-12, Nadec Strokers of Lope Ramirez demolished Sweet Angel Vipers of Angel Caasi 20-14 and Almarai of Jun Daniel walloped FBGR Selection of Mike Ecalnir 20-11.
