RIYADH: A fine bowling performance by Yasir Naseer enabled Pakistan International School Riyadh, Nasriya, rout International Indian School Riyadh ‘B’ by 9 wickets in the under-19 section of the Inter-School Cricket Tournament, organized by the Riyadh Cricket League at the RCL complex here.

Yasir claimed 5 for 1 including a hat trick. Annas was the other bowler who impressed and bagged 3 for 6. Earlier IISR-B were bowled out for 39 runs. Maria (11) and Majid (14) were the only batsmen who reached double figures.

In reply, PISR-N achieved their target off only 5.2 overs. Faisal scored an unbeaten 27 runs and was later declared Man-of-the-Match, which was presented to him by RCL’s coordinator Tariq Butt, Raja Tanveer and Ali Kamran of PISR-N.

In another match of the under-16 section, Royal Academy of Cricket Combined School XI got the better of International Indian School Riyadh ‘A’ by 3 wickets. The Indian school batted first and put up a total of 159 runs. Nabeel top-scored with 48 runs followed by Aakifen (21) and Sohail (19). Anas took 3 wickets while Hyder got 2. RAC Combined XI School achieved their target off the last over. Jamshed (33), Zuwair (31) Affan (21), Maaz (17) and Inam (18) were the main run getters. Mukul bagged 2 wickets.
