MADINAH: MCH Young Stars, Alawaali, My Care Hala, Kashmir XI, AOT and Mardouf scored easy wins in the MoneyGram Cricket Ke Badshah League, held under the patronage of the Saudi Cricket Center and organized by the Madina Cricket League, here.

The highlights of the day were centuries by Basharat of AOT and Tauseef Rehman of Mardouf on day where six matches were played

In the first match MCH Young Stars defeated Shaheen XI by 40 runs. Young Stars piled up 184 for 9. Ismael (53), Zeeshan (38) and Irfan (32) were the main scorers. Abdulrazzaque and Ali claimed 2 wickets each. In reply, Shaheen XI were all out for 144. Dost Mohammed with 30 was the top scorer. Hamza and Ibrahim grabbed 3 wickets, Irfan got 2.

Elsewhere, Alawaali put on board 239 for 4 against MCC. Sajid hammered 84 runs. Adnan (55) and Tauqeer (36) gave him support. Yasser claimed 2 wickets. MCC were restricted to 150. Shahzad scored 33. Khalid grabbed 3 wickets while Abdul Qader got 2. Alawaali won by 89 runs.

My Care Hala scored 210 for 7. Musawwer top-scored with 65 runs. Nadeem and Zaheer got 2 wickets each. Madinah Stars in reply managed 186. Mustafa was the highest scorer with 53 runs. Yunus grabbed 4 wickets while Hasnain got 2. Hala won by 24 runs

Kashmir XI won by 42 runs against Crown Steel. Kashmir XI offered a total of 210 for 7. Thanks to Ziarab’s 76 runs supported by Zohaib who got 40. Hammad Saeed took 3 wickets. Crown Steel managed to score 172 for 9. Waseem made 38. Mohammed Ali and Ziarab claimed 3 wickets each.

AOT outclassed Pak Madinah by 97 runs. Basharat’s century helped out AOT to put 247 for 2. Aleem (50) and Omar Sohail (59) were the other scorers. Pak Madinah could manage only 150. Omar Sohail grabbed 3 wickets.

Mardouf XI won against MCC by 61 runs. Mardouf made 221 for 2. Tauseef displayed his batting strength by scoring 100 runs with 9 fours and 4 sixes. In reply, MCC were restricted to 160. Pervez scored 56 and Abdulmajeed 50 were the notable scorers. Tauseef took 2 wickets.
