Bradley Braves of Herckie Mendoza defeated Red Sea Pirates 69-63 in the 2012 JBL 2nd Conference Non-Rated Basketball Tournament at Bin Mahfouz basketball court in Andalus District here.

Bradley wisely played its offense in the last quarter as Red Sea Pirates missed important baskets in the crucial minutes of the game. Alturas scored 17 points for Bradley Braves and was adjudged as the Giordano Best Player of the game while Quintana led Red Sea Pirates with 15 points.

Paul Villareal scored 15 points for Jeddah Rockers and was adjudged as the Saudi Sign Best Player of the game while Ante top-scored with 14 points for DHL Express.

Saudi Diyar won over ALJ Toyota 76-70. Saudi Diyar displayed good team work to score back-to-back wins. ALJ Toyota gave a good fight in the final quarter but missed important shots in the dying seconds. Junar Manila had 10 points for Saudi Diyar and was adjudged as the Al Haddaf Best Player of the game while Jams contributed 15 points for ALJ Toyota.

STC Terabytes beat Mahmoud Gharib 68-61. STC Terabytes of coach Randy Tuazon showed heart in the final quarter as Mahmoud Gharib tried to get back to the driver’s seat with 2 minutes remaining. Lloyd Zamora top-scored with 17 points for STC Terabytes and was adjudged as Wael Sports Best Player of the game while Charlie Bioca scored 17 points for Mahmoud Gharib.

Erfan Hospital defeated Saudia Catering 54-44 for its second straight win. Erfan Hospital coach Arwin Ochavillo instructed his players to play run-and-gun offense to wear down the two giants of Saudia Catering.

The plan paid well as the two big men of Saudia Catering started to lose steam in the final quarter. Valle top-scored with 14 points for Erfan Hospital and was adjudged as TFC Best Player of the game while Jeffrey Cabaobao had 9 points for Saudia Catering.

Aces of Tanny Delis beat Rabya 75-57. Aces went to the open man in the fourth quarter. Rabya committed back-to-back errors in the dying minutes. Ismail led Aces with 16 points and was adjudged as Arab News Best Player of the game while Garcia and Lico scored 16 points apiece for Rabya.
